I purchased a K850i Quicksilver/black off ebay its an O2 handset running R1EA031 firmware, I find the right touch button sometimes needs to be pressed a few times - mainly when locking and unlocking, but the middle and left are always ok with one touch.
Does anyone know if this is a firmware issue or do I need a new keypad membrane ?
Has anyone else had this issue ?
Is it ok to flash customized blue or green hansdet firmware to the quicksilver handset ?
I have done a search on the problem but usually if people are having trouble with the touch buttons its all three....

Maybe the white sensor is dirty?? Have you cleaned with spectical cloth or the likes? If its not this then def new Membrane. To be sure though you should set keypad tones on and hear if it is actually sensing your finger but just not responding to it.

Your right it does not make a tone or vibrate, only when it actually does unlock and lock the phone after few presses, so probably new membrane then, ok thanks |
