Took back my T68i (+ MCA-20) and got a 7650 |

Happy New Year BTW....
For christmas this year my lovely wife brought me a new phone - a T68i with snap on camera - WOW I thought this is brilliant! - this is much better than my 8310. However I soon realised that the addon camera is a bit of a waste of time, to start with 256colours??? (I know they look better on the PC) and the refresh to quite bad. OK I could live with the colour limitations, but then as I went around friends over christmas I noticed that I didn't take the camera - I left it behind, and if I left it plugged in, the phone became quite bulky. - Also when walking the dog, I took the phone but not the camera...
I then considered my options: I had already spent £20 on the phone (on contract) plus £80 for the camera - for that much money I could get a 7650...
So lucky?! (if you call it that) the little joystick on the T68 broke - it wouldn't go left . Because it broke within 14days I had the option of taking the whole lot back and get the 7650 - which I did and I haven't looked back. Ok its more bulky - but I ALWAYS have the camera - that to me is the killer....
and the overall feel/build quality of the 7650 is much better compaired to the t68i.
Maybe xmas 2003 I will look at SE's offerings when my contract is up.... |

@ consider the P800... plan 2 get 1 as soon as its alrdy availble here n my country...

last time alot of new posters say about the same stuff. and we not most of it is not true, i think this is one guy doing this. getting a new name all the time and making nokia look better then the really are.

I think the 7650 is a great phone if your wanting to take pictures. Im not so my T300 is great. My point is, each to there own!

@bart - first time here (apart from when I first got my T68i) and I was looking for wallpapers on xmas day!...
I am no Nokia fanboy, to coin a better phase!
The actual phone (T68i) is a piece of art and is proberby the best non-camera phone out here - but I wanted a cameraphone...
I was really excited when I was given the t68i - it was a big jump from the 8310 - which seems quite dated now. But the fact remains that when I plugged in the MCA-20 I felt quite disappointed. I managed to get some good pictures on the phone - via photoshop (I spent a lot of xmas day on the computer ok!) but in the end it wasn't what I expected.
