i450 is a lot cheaper than N81. According to mobile review, i450 outputs better sound quality through headphones. Both run the same OS.
Which would you prefer?

Well, both of the cameras the pack are crap IMO...

They are both really nice phones, but the samsung has better battery life, making for a better music player. It's also a lighter (The n81 weighs 140g, but the i40 weighs 114g).

As for the sound quality, GSM arena says: "Being able to listen to your favorite tracks is one thing but playing them properly is completely different. We were more than glad to realize that Nokia N81 is good at both. Our audio quality test showed very good results and convinced us that Nokia N81 is a real step forward for Nokia in this aspect"

And the i450: "Being able to listen to your favorite tracks is one thing but playing them properly is completely different. We were somewhat surprised to see that the results of Samsung i450 weren't the best around - and that's something unusual for the South Korean manufacturer."

I would take the Nokia... I, honestly, have never been a fan of Samsung phones.
