use mp4 format in full quality 240x320 resolution.
and if the sound has an annoying delay, try to divide your film into 10 min parts.
search a mp4 converter in google

the best one i have found is pocket divx encoder http://www.pocketdivxencoder.net/

works perfectly at 240x320 res, 300 or so kbps, 128 kbps audio. And i dont need to make any movies smaller or chop them into parts.

Although you are running a k850 i'm not sure how that compares to the P1.

Best of luck.

a tip, p990's highest video playback bit rate is about 800-900 kpbs. the videos that have higher bitrate than this will play slower.

no problem, enjoy. Trust me i've had a lot of trouble searching for a good converter. Found this one and i was over the moon.

Just some advice, play with the settings, because when the program loads up you have a choice of devices, mess about with each one and find the one that best suits your phone.

I use the free m3 converter by mysh, mentioned elsewhere on esato. You have to put a ".hosts" entry to make it work perfectly. It gives you one click conversion with device profiles meaning you don't need to worry about bitrates etc, it just works perfectly every time.

I use any video converter (http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/). TH efree version takes care of my needs. Simply select the MP4 profile and select video size and encode.

I'm using an application called Magic DVD Ripper - can't post link cos I'm posting from the mobile. It will convert not just to mp4 but other formats as well in various qualities. Pm me if you need extra info on the application.
