Yahoo is jumping into the Windows Mobile platform with vigour, and has just released their new Yahoo! Go 3.0 beta for Windows Mobile, mobile phones.
The application’s user interface has undergone a overhaul and there is now full support for widgets aimed at providing information on the go. There is now an integrated at-a-glance Yahoo screen and improved oneSearch feature along with a comely Web 2.0-like feel and navigation to the application. All the data is stored in a “cloud” for easy retrieval on any other web-enabled device and since this would mean heavy data transfers, it would help if you had an unlimited data plan.

I fail to fathom why they removed the messenger facility! It was there in version 1.something. Then came 2.0 and hey! No IM! What kind of upgrade is that?
