i'm curious.... are the regular newsposters on a holliday?
since there has been quite some intresting developments in the mobile-world.
and i don't read any of it here at esato.
which used to be quite fast and uptodate

it seems to me that bobafett has been doing an excellent job of posting news in the forums during the last few months

I disagree with the statement that it all fell apart after Axxxr left. As Massuer said, Boba and several others who have taken on the role have done very well.

I reckon Esato needs a proper news editor! It was all good before axxxr left, he posted news on the main page, as well as the useless crap in the boards that we all enjoyed reading...
The news on the boards are a bit unorganised, the articles Boba posts are good, but personally I feel they do lack a bit of quality.

The news page should be scrapped IMO. Its not updated at all and that gives a bad impression. I dont care if someone posts news in the forums, when there's a dedicated page to news, all news must go there.

A real, dedicated news editor like AXXXR is badly needed on ESATO. Someone who has the time and willingness to harvest news from all around the net..

ah, I thought we were talking about news in forum

the news editor position was offered to someone just recently but they eventually declined due to lack of available time for the commitment

but we're actively working on this so just hang a little longer

@arien
I think that news that Bobba's posts are completely fine for the forum board. You get the topic and the link, so you can investigate futher if you are interested and jump to the other thread if not....

u are right according certain things, but pls notice, i started to post here news without any experiences and cos i felt a certain "responsibility" for esato. i was adviced by experienced sources what to focus on, how and where to place the "news", but i do know, that my "try" and hopefully only "temporary news editing" will be changed a professional one...
