My t68i is it GSM or not? |

When I bought my t68i the guy in the shop told me it was GSM therefore it should work on any network right? I only have a T-mobile line so is there any other way of finding out whether I have been lied to or not.
Thanks

I just want 2 know whether the phone is GSM or not. There is no marking on the phone saying whether it is or not. |

Yes, if your phone uses a SIM card it is a GSM phone. |

any digital phone on sale at the moment is gsm (it stands for global system for mobilecommunications). to find out whether the salesman lied to you, get a mate with a sim from a different network, and put it in your phone. if it works it's unlocked, if it doesn't he's a lying weasel.

The bloke in the shop told him it was a GSM phone, it was StreetBoy's observation that it being GSM should mean that it works on all networks.
Being a GSM phone doesn't mean you can expect to shove any network simcard in there as it MAY be locked to the SP you purchased the phone from. This lock business is a separate thing. |

The sales guy in the shop said it is GSM & will work on any network. So I will try my m8 orange card to see if he was pulling my leg. |
