Use Wifi by default? |

As the title suggests, is there a way to make my P1i use wifi by default, other than having to add the network to my preferred group and change the priorities each time I add a new wireless network?

..isn't it supposed to add any new accounts to the top of the list..?

Don't know, but I'm sure mine doesn't!
I thought that I could just put DefaultWifiAccount at the top and that would encompass all wifi accounts, but it doesn't seem to work.

Strange. Wait.. maybe it was just the wizard that put it on the top, and the manual config pushed it to the bottom of the group (...)? *testing* ...yes. That's actually it. If you use the wizard after searching for a new net, you add it to the top of the list. If you add it manually, it ends up at the bottom. ....Right. Really intuitive, when you typically have the gprs- account towards the end, obviously. (Seriously, who the hell programmed this thing?)
Anyway.... Because of the other java- bug.. I tend to use one group for the wlan connections I have, and then use the manual config (show dialog, and the option in the java- settings).. just because I go spare if I have to edit the groups to get things to work again. (Of course, that's not when I need to use push- mail)..
Soo.... while we're waiting for SE to fix this, and make their one year old phone actually usable. And possibly fix the next g- series that comes out soon. And the same for the new UIQ3.3 devices that no doubt also draw from the same codebase.... I don't know... does anyone want to hear my recipe on peroxide explosives? Just to pass the time, you know..
