I know there has been tons of topics about this.. but i cant seem to find any that correspond to my situation. or if there is any please redirect me.
So at home i was able to use my wi-fi to go online on my P1i. but i discovered that i cant do it at school today. The network signal is full.. and the globe flashes. It says that it was connected. however my opera browser does not respond. please help me. Does this have anything to do with p1i not supporting 802.11b/g.. coz i know it only supports 802.11b.
any suggestions are appreciated.
PS: the error message says "could not connect to remote server" |

hi
if you set up your home's wifi manually, of course it will work at home. but, now that your using a different hotspot, it wont.

Maybe your school broadcasts only b. or the school is setup for security. |

and the p1 supports b. why it would not work.
@wiganda: have you seen other phones getting connected to your school's wifi?
