Do People Still Repair Tv's? Mine Has Gone Odd. |

I've had this Tv (Bush Widescreen) for almost 3 years and it's been great.
But about 2 days ago I was playing GTA 4 and noticed that the colours are now all weird.
Example: Onscreen it says "Press Y To Save Your Game" and the "Y" is supposed to be in yellow.... on my tv it's pink.
I hooked up my Wii, Freeview box and DVD player to make it was the tv.... it is.
So... does anyone have any idea's of a fix? (I've Googled but not having much luck.)
I've been told it'd be cheaper to buy a new Tv than to get it repaired.
Any info would be great. |

I would say buy a new Tv. Like you said, probably cost as much to fix.

Have you tried a degaussing wand?
Have you seen what happens when you put a magnet near a tv screen? It goes all funny colours etc. Well a degaussing wand fixes it. I bought one from CPC warehouse a few years back for about £40. Worked a treat.

get a large magnet and go waving it about behind the TV, not in front of it, BEHIND IT!!!!
I can't stress this enough, the bigger the magnet the better.
