I have HONG KONG VERSION W890i

ALL THIS WAS UPDATED ON THE SEUS PROGRAM FROM SE SITE.
NOTE:
The later version i have (R1FA030) has some fixes including when phone is in standby mode and then press any button to view clock the screen lights up for a split second and then normal. this has been fixed in this version..

So far, A200 platform for this phone is quite stable (edit: my current fw version is R1EA030- some advice from my past K850i ordeal, if the fw ain't broke, don't update it!!!). My gf and i have been using these phones (silver, mocha brown) for about a month now without any major drama (ref: K850i firmware, also A200).
Been playing a lot of Java games on my phone, no issues with lack of memory.
Photos are fine, but miss my K850i auto focus, can't get good near object shots with W890i.
Light level detector doesn't seem to brighten/darken screen very much, can hardly see the difference.
Battery meter icon inaccurate, same like K850i. Battery life good for me, 3G-off, bluetooth only when needed.
Loudspeaker (in-call) function a bit soft, weird cos the music blares out very loud from both speakers.

one thing.. you CANT send msgs to SIM CONTACTS.. you have to copy and paste.. WTF

generally, the phone memory capacity for numbers far exceeds that of a SIM card, so why not just copy all SIM contacts to phone? Youcan even backup on the M2 card later, makes for easy transfer to other SE phones

Software R1EA033 ... generic
The media player failed to skip the song automatically when the song finish while the fone kepad is locked / screen saver mode.
it displayes the "FIALED" alert. then i must manually skip the song. |

That means the media database is corrupt. You must do a rescan by removing the Mē and reinserting it. |

This doesn't help.
Beside I think the rescan is done when you remove/add media.
I formated my memory stck and added new media then it skiped a few songs that if failed again.

it happened today, where it cant detect the internal memory, all files are missing till i had to restart it again, luckly it popped up 
so worrying......

Now some songs play halfway and fail.
and the same songs play successful in w800.

i just bought a mocho brown version and its got a later FW.... this is the china CDA version and it can be downloaded from SEUS program..
it has some camera fixes and standy mode fixed
