If you want a tiny laptop with Linux pre-installed there is the ASUS Eee.
It is also missing some major features but at least it's properly small
And of course they are only £200

I love my thinkpad (even though it is 4 years old and slow as hell). I would love an X300 but have you seen the price? They are nearly £2000!

lol, same, thinkpad's are the best (ive got an x60) and my dads got the x300 in his work (supposedly, if you drop it, accelerometers detect it and freeze the disk's or something to stop data being lost, how cool is that!! (same with my laptop) (i think it's the same for every x-series thinkpad )
its those little things that make you wanna pay that little extra for a thinklpad
oh and about the £2000,theyre not that expencive (take £400 off)
