Hi Miss UK
I would suggest using the VodaFone Internet APN as all the others are Wap connections although i saw as high as 998kbps on that connection which is close to the 1086kbps you got. But the Max speed your device can get is 3.6mbps as that is it's maximum ability with the hardware it has it is just not possible for it to exceed that speed how ever great it is.
The iPhone speed test i use works directly on the phone so if you have a screenshot app is easy to record. Try using a VodaFone Internet connection to,
i.dsir.net/tinyspeedtest.html
in your Web address and see what it reports.
Marc

Vodafone Internet connection doesn't work lately but the other links to the net do, might delete and resend them to the phone and see if it works again, Vodafone live works well though and Vodafone Java

Hi ayejatt
I have answered you via PM in more detail but phone 191 to check your plan with a rep is my advice.

Thanks Marc,
I called 191 and the rep said i am on my "old plan" and I have been moved to the new plan now and when i asked "have i been charged for the data used in the past 2 days" and she said no although the unbilled charges on my next bill is £43.XX(seen online). Guess will have to call them when i get the next statement then,
