Well, a laughing smiley looks friendly, not irritating ?
As for the N73 : my brother-in-law has it, his third now, within eight months, and yesterday it died again.
He would rather throw it against the wall, but he can't, as it's his phone from work.
Now he's forced to use his spare Nokia 1600 and this little thing is durable, unfortunately it has almost no functions, so it's not usuable for work.

marly is right. n73 is everything, but not durable. very bad built quality, housing and joystick, not to forget the keypad. sadly very poor construction, nokia didnt gave its best...

thats what i was trying to say.. pls put the reason or any explanation why u dont think its durable...otherwise people get confused.. one of my friend is using this phone.. he was about to buy an i pod ---but then he changed his mind to buy it because of getting a mobile and music player together.. and he is using it for more than six months and he is still okay with that...
So every people have different views and experience as well.. sure N73 is not the most durable phone in the industry but surely more durable than the other two phones... |

I pretty agree but the lack of camera cover will brought issues like scratches etc. among the three options i suggest K810 - it's a pretty decent all rounder yet it is highly moddable(if you are a fond of modding anyway). N73 excels in wide application support but you have to face some consequences like frequent slowdowns, hanging etc. i don't know whether N73 has some major build quality flaws except it's keypad(letters that worn out after some months) and unreliable and slippery joystick.

The truth that depends on how you are! because if you like you like to take pictures or record videos or listen to music! good in my opinion I do that I had the N73 will recommend it! because it makes the best videos k810 and even more than the w810 the Speaker of n73 are superior to both SE and the pictures are also good day ...
The only control is that the n73 has no flash xeṇn as k810 the k810 magnificent photos taken at night is great rather like saying 90% to 10% k810 of n73! the only advantage of k810 are photos and videos and music n73 certainly ... also uses the symbian n73 and duficiente that's because there are so many applications you can put him to symbian! decicion is yours and I told you just what is wrong in the n73 is in the picture at night! nothing more and if the recording is wonderful as I said earlier that besides night you can use your flash LED to illuminate N73 ... is your decicion;)!

I'm guessing the original poster is not a fan of modding, as he seems to have very little knowledge of these things (no offense).
I would go for the K810i, despite the N73 being better featured. The reason being that the N73 likely over-complicates things with features and software for somebody that seems to have little experience with phones. The K810i still does most of what the W810i does, and adds a better camera, etc. I would assume the two Sony Ericssons would be cheaper too...
Now, the original poster said they are a music fan. If this means you enjoy high quality music and sound, then it would be better to get an iPod or any good brand dedicated MP3 player, such as Sony, Samsung or Creative because the quality of a mobile phone is not yet up to dedicated MP3 player standards. However most people find that a mobile phone is satisfactory for their needs, so it is not necessary, it is just a good idea if you like high quality.

I don't know if N73 is better than K810 with regards to audio quality. besides it's loud stereo speakers, i can't deem which is better when we compared it's quality using HQ earphones. and most of the time people do not use loud speakers when playing music while walking on the street or etc. they prefer using earphones.

I'd go for the K810. W810 doesn't have A2DP, a must have for a music phone IMO.

Why is it a must have? Its more a novelty than anything else. There are many many wired headphones which are better than the best bluetooth stereo headphones.

Headphones are not the only A2DP compatible accessories

I agree. I have owned a W810 briefly. I sent it back because I was very disappointed with the sound quality which suffers from hiss especially noticeable at low volumes. It was the first music phone I ever owned. The K810 (if not all SE phones) has the same problem but if you use bluetooth headphones, the problem is barely, if at all noticeable. Sure, you might not get Megabass but you can adjust the equalizer if you really want to.
I would definitely go with the K810 - it's a massively superior phone, the W810 is ancient in comparison! I don't think you'll be disappointed, it looks and feels like a real piece of quality and I don't think it lacks anything important over the W810. As for the Nokia I can't comment.
