"After the other large players on the mobile phone market, Samsung too has published its financial results for the first three months. While Sony Ericsson was talking about a stagnating market, Samsung managed to sell 33% more phones (46.3 million) during the first quarter, compared to the same period last year. With this achievement they practically have an advantage that cannot be caught up with, thus overtaking Motorola, previously on second place but currently known mainly for its bad situation. With this the company made 923 million dollars profit. The report also reveals that the average device prices shows a decreasing tendency, they are selling devices at 141 dollars average, compared to 148 USD last year."

So Samsung is officially number 2.
Seriously though, congrats to them, LG and The Dark Side for some really impressive Q1 results.

I liked the way you referred to Nokia as The Dark Side.

Congratulations are in order.

No offence but how the hell do they do it? I mean, and as far as I'm concerned, their phones don't seem to offer much! One thing I know for sure is that women just love Samsungs.

I just can't stand them!

Succesfull? what about all the scandals?
Samsung is holding back money from taxes.
They're products give much more profit then the are letting the people know.
And they've been linked to sponsering terrorisme more then once.

1 thing is true, they are succesfull in making people blind and buying stuff thats really not worth it.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

And Bart, if your the same bart as off MR your sonsoring racism :/

Member BART was banned (two months) for racist comments, stating that Iraqi, Indian, Japanese and Pakistani nationals were to blame for SE's demise, and also claiming that scandinavians were superior in intellect, and that Swedish society was the worse for their being in residence.

Seriously though, sponsoring terrorism, nah.

And it was not SAMSUNG evading taxers it was some members of the corp.
