How can i attach files to an email using opera?

You can't.You can ny using the email client in the phone,not by browser.

I don't know about P1, but I've definitely attached files with Opera using Gmail, Y!Mail and even Friendster as one normally does on a PC. Doesn't work with Hotmail though. I'm using a P990 btw, so does this mean it's a step down to have a P1?

I think it's probably your internet settings. I used to have some problems accessing certain websites and attaching files before when I used my network provider settings, but when I revert back to the default SE settings (the one you're prompted to download after every fresh format/full reset), I've never looked back since

calm down,it doesn't work no matter what.Just put your server settings into Email client in the phone and you'll be fine.I use it for 4 years now.Call your provider,he'll explain.
