W580i & S500i should be binned |

Does anyone else here think that these 2 phones should now stop being made and sold. The reason i say this is reading and seeing peoples comments on these phones being so so shoddy in construction and reliability. I think SE should learn from this big time and stop bringing out cheaply made phones with poor construction that also dont justify the price of them either. How i see it a company such as SE should not be putting out selling such rubbish to the public. I had a W580i and took it back it was weakly built had poor signal in strong coverage area call quality was horrible keys were useless and it generally felt as if it was going to fall apart. SE can do better than this. People have had so much trouble with them now surely they should be with drawn from the shops and stop customers spending their money on shoddy faulty workmanship. |

W580 is selling like hotcakes in my country, and in fact i saw alot of people here using W580. they loved it's design. i haven't heard them complaining on the broken keys yet.

My mum's got a S500, on the second broken keypad now, but she's happy with it nonetheless. Mainly because it doesn't affect the functionality - it's only cosmetical.

i've had only a letter cracked. Reason it being cracked is due to lending it to my friend to play games. other wise, it's good. it's creaky yes. but it's strong. dropped it on the floor a few times. its strong. what's more is that the phone itself doesn't seem to get scratched. extremely lasting. it shouldn't be stopped. it has a great design and music is excellent. |

TBH, most of the people who have bought them where i am have had them for about few months, so i guess these might not be the ones with bad keypads.
I was just happy it still works after having it for a while now, unlike my W850 and k850 which just decide to up sticks and die!
only annoying thing i've found with mine is that coz the two halfs are so close together, the green metal backplate has gotten scuffed, but as long as it turns on, i'm happy with it

My girlfriend bought a
w580 last year around
september (>40 weeks)
and the 1,4,7 and hash
keys are cracked. I have a
feeling soon the rest of
the keys will be cracke
pretty soon. Absolute
rubbish! But then, so is
almost every other phone
that SE produces these
days. |

I've gone through about 15 phones in the last 6 months and I must say I've had my W580i for the longest. (4 months) Silly reason I keep it really, I like the step counter, I've taken it on holidays a few times and have had records of 35000+ in 1 day... can't give up the phone because all my records are stored in it. |
