Canon makes better shots but is a real camera...
K850 is really impressive... |

@Killfr3nzy,
Looks like the two shots were taken at slightly different angles. That light meter is catching a reflection from a light source above the scene so I don't think it's overexposed.
Easier to see (BIG) differences at 100 percent scale:
From the above, I would never think of making A4 prints of the K850 shot.

I really think that A4 prints wouldn't suit any pictures taken by cameraphones. |

No camera phone produces photos printable on A4? Have a look at these these.

^^ The colors may be similar but it's the noise that will separate the Canon and the K850 by a very wide margin. and there's no point in bragging that K850 can produce image as good as canon if we only refer to shrunked pics.
if it is imobile 902 that we compared with canon then maybe i'll change my first paragraph

As long as you print only postcard-sized photos then most camera phones, even those with CMOS sensors, will do just fine. So for this purpose, scaling down the photos is OK as 800x600 will still look good at 4x6". On the other hand, you will never be able to produce good looking blow-ups of the shots that you are really proud of.

a "camera phone" is verry different from a "stand-alone camera" and of course, th stand-alone camera always, always, will win over the camera phone.. there is no point of comparing those two.. k850 is out of it's league being compared to a stand-alone camera.. it's just like comparing a cat from a lion.. |
