Problem with Opera Mini in T650i |

Hi everyone! I have been a lifetime Nokia user and only recently I bought a SE phone, and I must say, I love my new SE t650i. However, I am a heavy internet user and I am facing problems with using Opera Mini. Very often when I click on a link, the phone stalls and I get a warning message "Out of Memory". Sometimes the phone gets very hot; especially after browsing for 20-30 minutes simultaneously.
Is it a normal thing or should I take it to the service center? |

I don't think this is normal at all. I browse on my K750, W810 and now, my K770, for more than half an hour at a go. My phones do not heat up excessively. Also, I have not encountered any memory problems on all 3 phones. The K770 is very similar to the T650, so I believe there might be a defect with your T650. Get it checked at the service centre.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. |

@Ishtiaque:
go to this site with your phone: http://wap.club-java.com/en , download and install .jar file, run it and see how much heap memory your phone does have.
also which version of OM you're using?

I don't have any problems with OM on my phone at all. Made no specific settings.
I've heard there might be a conflict when cached pages number is more that history (or vice versa but still). I've set them both equal to 40 and everything works good.
I'm using 3.10 mod test 7 |

Have tried Opera Mini on T650 myself... Works good though... Anyway, you can try installing newer/older version to see if it works... Some versions just may be buggy, you know .

Try to use the latest Opera mini?
That is the v4.1 and install it using the jad so you will get signed version.
Hope this help...

I don't know about the heat problem but I know if you get the "out of memory" message clear your history and then go to settings, scroll down to "clear cookies" then click it to clear the cookies.
I don't know why but it works for me!!!
Hope that helps! |

It clears the phone's heap memory which is some kind of phone's RAM and gives the phone space to operate with the app. That's why it is working for you, and maybe that will work for others too. So it can be given a try.

You will never get signed operamini by installing vai jad from the official site until you sign it yourself or find already signed copy link.
Jad itself provides no signature, it's a descriptive file for jar. BTW, SE phones don't need it in most of the cases |
