Used Davinici to got R9M.
Problem still there.
I put back on my orignal CDA GDFS (mine was an HK orignally)
Problem still there.
Upgraded to R9N using SEUS, and problem still there!!
Will ring SE and see what they say
They said that I have to send it back (again), I will wait till after christmas.
But maybe Santa and his Elves could fix it for me
My phone is a bit more stable now, The screen still darkens, but it doesnt effect performance as much as before.
The only thing Im doing different, is having a good few applications open, like Notes,Messaging, Media, Calender, TomTom.
Might be worth trying |

I had the same problem when I updated to the latest firmware, luckily I had previously backed up the 1020867a.cre file from G900 on my PC.
Download it from here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/173840775/1020867a_patched.rar
I already patched the file, so don't patch it again, just transfer it to C:\Private\10202be9\persists\ and restart your phone.
Patched 1020867a.cre file from P1 is included here too, you can also try it instead of the G900 one with no problems.

Tried all that. I use Swiss Manager to close all tasks after start up releasing more RAM and it doesnt make a difference. My phone was so bad this morning that it took me about an hour to start it up. Kept having to restart it and removing the battery. Has been running ok since then. |

G900 users, how is the latest firmware of g900? Here in my country, my supplier says that a lot of people are complaining about their g900 that it hangs a lot etc... Do these customers have older versions of the firmware or does the latest firmware of g900 still not good? tnx |

hanging... well i didn't notice it, ony when i use internet and something happens... (wifi drops, or anything else) thats when it hangs, and i need to restart phone. One time when i had it in my hand, it shut down... had to take out battery to restart it.. but happened only once. Anyway, it;s way faster than previous, and if they can fix the camera, i will be very happy (+the SMS problem).

I made the mistake in switching it off a few nights ago and it is playing up every hour or so. It seems to be behave better if i leave it next to the cooling fan of my laptop whilst in work. The heat seems to make the screen more stable or maybe its all in my head. As well as this I am pulling the battery out every night when I get home and replace it in the morning before leaving the house. Its an absolute pain. Definitely gonna do the same and send it back after the hols. |

On my side, I have no problem with my G900. It neither hang nor restart. It only one annoying thing and I don't know how to go about, the delivery report is showing wrong time. E.g. if sms is sent and delived at 8.00 am, the delivery report shows that the sms is delived at 11.00 am. Is this a bug or it is related with phone settings?

How can I update the Media Library so that it doesn't include my ringtones? Can I set it to look in certain folders only? Or can I "hide" the ringtones in a folder that media library doesn't search, but is still accessible from the ringtone selection menus?

P990 have the option to only search for files that are bigger than 1MB when updating the library... I guess G900 is not different...
