hi all
pls help.... my SE G900 used to cannot read chinese..
i have change from my singapore version to other version that provide me chinese fornt..... but the firmware wasn't latest 1....R9L004...... izzit safe for me to update by myself from my pc......?? will it spoil my mobile......?? i scare it might crash the hardware....
so what should i do.. continue using the old version or update it?
just now i try to update the firmware... and it stated "Generic SG".....
last time i update also stated "Customizes Singapore".... izzit same??? whats the difference between "Generic SG and Customizes Singapore" i scare if i update the firmware will turn back to the version that cannot read chinese..... pls help.....tq |

Hello everyone,
I've got a G900 for 2 months now and since 2 weeks it starts to shut down and says that the phone is restarted to improve the accomplishment.
Or the phone just stops without restarting and the mobile screen is black (with only the blacklight) and only the 5-waysbutton has light. Than I have to replace to battery and restart the phone.
I've already tried to put new software on the phone and delete all, but it doesn't work.
can anyone help me? |

I allready did, i've formatted internal drive.
and re-installed the firmware of the G900.

Please help me, i almost smashed my phone in my RAGE! Since the fcking update, the phone became faster, but i can't connect to the internet. WiFi finds the router, connects to it, with opera 8.65 it's working, but with other applications (installed on M2) no connection.. host error/can't find host, etc. Signal is excelent, with a nokia N95 it's working, Sling is not working, Fring, Opera 9.5 all stop and say can't connect. and BEFORE the update all was ok (sometimes it works, but now it's not working)
My biggest mistake was to buy this phone. I'm trying to sell it, or trade with a P1, but can't... fcking SE and theyr fcking G900 >:(
"generation Internet" phone, and it has no flash lite for youtube, and net is not working right. Older firmware was slower, but net was OK.. shit |

lol I GOT VERY LUCKY < MA PHONE IS PERFECT < I JUS CHANGED THE FIRMWARE TO CUSTOM WORLD 1 , and updated , this is tooooooo fast and too goood ,, btw love the red thme , it matches the outside .,,....... .
how can i access the phone from the pc , for example , adding files to it , with it the whole SE suite , jus by goin on my computer , etc

btw , for the g900 , i wana buy a 4gb card
(m2 obviosuly) lol, SANDISK OR SONY , which would work better with the phone , the sony is only £2 more expensive ,so i dont mind the cost, but which one will work better and not lagg the phone ? |

no card laggs the phone... only some stupid people made that up. OFC if you have a big card you have 100 mp3 on it, not 10, so the media player takes longer to read them, but it doesn't lagg it. i have 8GB m2, and can say it behaves like with 1GB. Oh, and Sony VS SanDisk... Sandisk is world leader. Buy the Sun card

If sony ericsson made more phones like the g900i i bet UIQ would have been big. the fact they made 1 phone a year from UIQ was there downfall. look at nokia,theyv encoporated symbian in most of their phones.UIQ could have and should have been big in my opinion |

May I ask the g900 users is it still worth to buy the g900 judging from your problems? Another question: when you switch to business mode, does the scrolling and accessing the stand by applications in the home screen available just like in the default mode? tnx |

g900 is worth it man..after updating to the latest firmware its super fast! my complain before was the slow sms and contacts search..with the new firmware it's like having a nokia, only its touchscreen and uiq =p..it's a good phone, have no problems with it now =) |
