Use "My friend" with Yahoo Messenger ? |

Hi,
Anybody succeed setting My friend (in Messaging submenu) using Yahoo Messenger id?
I Google this problem and i can't find any clue, the only option i found to activate this option is by registering to Wireless Village which i've already done. To be honest, i don't really like it. It takes about a minute just to receive messages from other user, quite fast isn't it?
So can anyone tell me how to use "My friend" using Yahoo Messenger id ?

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much support for the service since Smartvas gave up.
There is a Java version here: http://www.miyowa.fr/movemail.php

just download ebuddy from www.getjar.com, its java app for yahoo, msn, google talk and icq. Works perfectly like opera mini. Or u can go to ebuddy.com

Which one do both of you recommend to use judge by good readable interface?(i'm using 176x220)
Rightnow i'm using Hibaru's Mig33 but i didn't like the interface cause the fonts is ugly...

Well i'm not really interested in installing another java, i only want to activate My friend. At last i found one IMPS server that actually work but i haven't try it since everyone at my contact list are offline. Tell you the result later.
Anyway why don't we make some thread to poll and vote for Sony Ericsson to make one IMPS service provider for their consumer and to be one step ahead from their rival (NOLIA, MOTOROLING, SEEMINS, etc)

Nokia and Moto also have the own versions of 'My Friends' on certain phones and you'll find one IMPS is available to all manufacturers.
Which one did you sign up for, Yamigo?

I just signed up to mobjab today. It gives you the settings and adds both yahoo and msn accounts during sign up. Also aim i think. Had it up and running with no prob and been chatting. Hope this helps. Oh and hi all by the way, first day here  |
