Has anyone seen the design of the new N78 god who the hell designed the thing. Its so awful i thought the N82 keypad was bad enough(though its a good phone)what with the awful layout and dreadful 4 lines of numbered keys all stuck together in a line. Designer must have had a bad day. Jesus.

N78 keys look worse than the one implemented on Nokia 88xx i used before. although i find most of those grain sized keys easier to recognize(especially in dark) than those cramped keys traditionally seen on most phones.

this keypad would fit more a high end luxury device, instead of a multimedia fone imo. ok, its sg new, sg wild, but i dont think, that it should be a tradition in the coming n series fones or maybe nokia wanna open a new style, design?

well ... I never liked Nokia, always thught their design was akward ... but I really liked this one when I saw the photo for the first time :-) Looks to me like Nokia is trying to cover more ground with N Series devices, with various designs/features etc. and business wise, that makes perfect sense to me . Offer me choice in design, while being up to specs through it all, what more could you ask for ?

Ye i agree with Gola and Theos. I like it as well, it has everything in a nice package and IT WILL come with a very reasonable price tag apparently. The N78 and N82 are going to sell very well for NOKIA in my opinion. With all the power efficiency of FP-2 plus a 1200mAh battery i think it's going to have amazing battery life.

Dont get me wrong though i prefer SonyEricsson phones i got nothing against Nokia i like their phones well some of them. I have a Nokia 6300 now but looking to get new contract soon i love the N82 but i might be going for SE W890i. Though i think in recent years Nokia has got better with usability and their keypads just this one is very bad i think. Remember the old days when they made wild looking keypads.

I really hate those 4 lines. How the heck can you type fast with this.
The release is in this spring. At some point it was said that the official release at vodafone uk would be in 15th May but now they moved it to the 22nd May.
I don't know if this is really confirmed now.
