I was toying around in the main menu and noticed that the "Move to folder" option is active on Messaging... so, just to try it, I moved it to Entertainment. Now I can't move it back to the Main Menu from there - there's no Move to folder anymore - and the rest of my Main Menu icons got rearranged. How can I fix this? I tried Swiss Manager Pro but didn't find anything useful there either...

A master reset should fix this.
But untick 'delete applications' at the bottom first.

And backup your phone, just to be on the safe side..

I was hoping for an alternative solution... sigh. I have only myself to blame anyway. Will this erase my phone contacts and SMS too?

I had the same problem on my P1i before, so next time:

(1) Always keep your contacts and other entries at www.mobical.com
(2) SyncML often with Mobical, once a week or use Swim from Google code Bergamot project
(3) Do a hardware reset, master reset is not enough when icons are scattered around by themselfs.
(4) Press * jogup * jogdown jogdown * jogdown * and Format internal disk
(5) SyncML from Mobical agin
(6) Install programs from memory card again ( You keep back-up there, dont you)?

Finished
