I'm due another upgrade in May and unsure what phone to have or if I should wait.
Over the last 6 months I've used the following phones:
K800
K810
P1
K850
Neonode N2
W380
and my current phone. A W960.
Main things I look for is a decent calender function (as in P1/W960), camera 3mp or more preferably with a flash (besides the usual making phone calls and texting )
Memory doesnt bother me as I dont mind buying memory cards.
Have been looking at the following phones:
W910 Def Jam Edition
W890 in Silver or Black
K850
T650
or maybe have a change and go for either a Nokia N82 or Samsung G800
On the other side. Maybe I should wait and go for one of the following:
C902 (Release June 08)
W980 (Release July 08)
Samsung G810
Or wait longer and go for the next P series or next cybershot phone.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose |

Wait for the W980. Come July 15th you'll be the first on Esato with one and I for one will be massively jealous!
I'm convinced W980 will be a jaw dropper for sure...
8GB
FM transmitter built in
Thin clamshell
HSDPA
Walkman on top
Excellent sound quality

@carkitter. The W980 was one of my main choices but with me having a W960 already would there be a big enough difference between the 2 do you think ? |

what if W890?
from my observations, sometimes it's better off not knowing. |

N82-8gb would be a wise choice. Here's why: 5mp cam with xenon + carl zeis lenses; 20x digi zoom; gps + free nokia maps; 3g + wlan; tv-out; standby time = 225 hrs. Whatta killa!!!

All those phones you mentioned would be a downgrade from W960

@rookwise:
try to settle first what do you really want in your next phone and that should serve as your guideline in choosing...
personally, i'm suggesting that you wait for the x1 indeed (unless of course you have "bulky" phones )... i'm also looking at the C702 and C902. these units seem to have everything in them already - music, camera, web, etc..
goodluck!

@Rookwise
Yeah, I think there will be a big difference between the two. Infact the only things they share is the colour black and 8GB memory.
I didn't think V630i > V640i was going to be much of an upgrade but I was very wrong. While the loss of A/F, Symbian OS, and Wifi, may not make the W980 an upwards step, it'll certainly be different. I can't wait!
