Has anyone ever had a problem with saving speed dials into the M600i when using Exchange ActiveSync?
I have a user with an M600i and every time she saves speed dials into the phone, they are gone when the phone syncs with the Exchange server! |

I'm probably speaking out of turn as I know nothing about exchange servers/active sync, but could it be that when the phone updates ALL the contacts in the phone memory, wether they've changed or not?
Ie. is the server taking priority over all the data entries, and not just updating the changes? I've a feeling that this would cause speeddial associations to be lost, as effectively the contacts would be seen as completely new.

rofl. Wow. Well done, SE.
edit: btw, can anyone check and see if this happens after a backup, or an outlook- sync, or an import (update) sync through syncML, as well?

Do you know what AD, that is probably what happens. Since the ActiveSync software for UIQ is made by Dataviz and not Microsoft. On Windows Mobile, ActiveSync uses Exchange API's to implement proper syncing and I would have thought Roadsync would do the same thing but then its probably cheaper not to license the whole thing!
