I purchased two from ATT corporate store this week. Anyone else own one? I have some specific questions:
1. Has anyone been successful in activating the email client that is part of the A200 platform?? I am really interested in seeing if someone is able to figure out how to make it work!
However, one point to note dove-tailing on the email client issue. I am not happy with the inability to set up the A200 platform email client and am not interested in using the application that comes with the phone titled "Mobile Email" in that it just plain doesn't do as good a job as my old s710a firmware phone. Proprietary to ATT or not, it is no good. I am unable to delete several at a time, etc. In this new A200 platform you cannot create a shortcut to an application, same as in the A100 platform. If I am going to be using the email client several times a day, I want to be able to access it is two key presses or less. Here it is one key press, scrolling to "Applications," another key press to accept, scrolling through the unremovable sample applications(who needs Instyle mobile) and then key press to launch Mobile Email.
If it isn't possible to make it work, I will return mine. The existing "application" titled "Mobile Email" doesn't do email justice!
2. I loaded google maps and it was accurate to my location within 50 yards...my local area is swamped with towers(dense city setting).
Any ideas on the A200 platform email client as to how to set it up and make it work?
