The dodgy Chinese rip offs have been around for ages, and they're often found on eBay.
More recently, these companies are building counterfeit models and dealers (desperate to make money any way they can) are selling them as originals - and pocketing huge sums of money. The N95 is one such clone that isn't good enough to fool you or me, but will fool a lot of 'ordinary' punters.
I'd love to see a fake because the OS must be complete rubbish. I also wonder what the camera actually is, and whether it has GPS or Wi-Fi (unlikely).
