is sony ericsson mmr-70 fm transmitter backward compatible |

hey iam looking to buy a fm transmitter for my w810i which takes mmr-60 but its very hard to find it and is very expensive.
however the new mmr-70 is much cheaper and readily available but it doesnt list w810i in list of compatible phones.
i was wondering if anyone had a chance of using their mmr-70 on older breed of sony walkman phones e.g w800i,w810i or k800i etc???
i do know that mmr-60 is definitely not compatible with newer sony phones but there isa chance that mmr-70 may be backwards compatible
any help will be much appreciated |

Just bought the MMR 70 yesterday, and itīs working with W800i.
The FM transmitter works very well, but W800 dosent support all of the "extra" functions in MMR 70, for example it does not support sending artist/track or caller info to be displayed at your RDS radio, and some lighteffects, but I can live with that....... at least until itīs time to upgrade to a never phone (waiting for the C702)

If it works with w800 (as the above post says) it should/will work with w810 aswell...
