Is my K800i broken? |

Hi all, picked up a K800i a couple of weeks ago and now the charger and hands free etc seem intermittent, it looks like a problem with the connector on the phone rather than the equipment seeing as I bought a new genuine SE car charger and the GPS/handsfree unit too, which both have problems.
This was it for a little while, until the phone started telling me that my (nearly new) sim card was not recognised, generally when I had just finished a hard bit on various games I'd installed. Which of course, crashes the entire phone.
The final straw now... It won't switch on. The battery was at 87% this morning, when I got my phone out at lunch to text someone, it was off, and wouldn't switch on, so I pulled the battery out, put it back in and it was fine, for a while. It did it again, and wouldnt switch on, so I went out to my car and left it on charge for a few hours to see if I'd somehow drained the battery doing nothing. Checked it agian a few hours later, and it was fine, switched on no bother, until I checked it again at home where the screen was dead with just the backlight on. Pulled the battery out etc, back in, nothing, plugged it into my PC, nothing, all dead.
What the fook is going on with my phone?
Also, I bought the phone 2nd hand so can't really get it repaired under warranty, also, it's been absolutely fine for 3 weeks up until the various problems started so I don't think I can blame the previous owner either.
I've had Nokias for ages and never had any problems with them, then I got a Samsung D500 which I've had for 3 years without a single problem (also bought 2nd hand!) and now a SE lasts 3 weeks tops? I know they aren't all like this, but are SEs generally considered to be reliable or not? I'd like to buy another one because I like the way they look and various functions etc, and am quite tempted by a K850i (would buy new this time!).
So...
1) Is my K800i knackered?
2) Should I replace it with a brand new K850i, or go back to Nokias? LOL

Could it be the battery? My first thought is some internal cable problem.
Like my K800, if i want to charge it or connect to my computer i have to jiggle the connector a bit for it to connect properly.
You could try to connect you're phone to XS++ and try to update the firmware but my guess is that its a physical error..
Beside of that i gotta agree with you on one point, my previous Nokia's have never failed on me.
If it was that they weren't as advanced as todays phones i wont say but the point is still there.

Found the problem to be a couple of dry joints after stripping down, not sure how they've happened. My soldering is crap so I'm not even going to attempt what is effectively microsurgery, and I've just bought a Nokia haha.
