I stay in india.My brother is sending me a cell phone from CANADA. It is

768B 3.2 MegaPixels Touch Screen Bluetooth FM PDA PHONE.Brand name is SONG MOBILE.Model is ---A768 UNLOCKED GSM.It is NEW UNLOCKED TRI-BAND PDA Phone.Supports any GSM 900/1800/1900 MHZ SIM card.

Can i use this phone with airtel or any other sim card.I dont know on what frequency does airtel sim cards works on. Do i have to change the software of the cell phone.plz answer me.

I guess it depends if the phone is locked to any provider in Canada. If it is you'll have to get it unlocked.

U can also try remote unlocking (if it has a sim lock)

Airtel works on 900 MHz, so should not be a problem if the phone is unlocked.
