Just send your wiimote over to www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer and have a look...

Had a little play... very pixelated... but nice to see the BBC still working on this for other platforms...

Nice, sounds great.

I don't have a Wii myself but I would like BBC or Sony to release some drivers to allow me to watch BBC iPlayer on my PS3's internet, at the moment the video players used on the iPlayer site are unsupported and so don't work.

Thats what you get for buying a £350 breadbin

Sorry, couldn't resist, lets not turn this post into a fanboy flame war

I can't wait to try this on my Wii when I get home, could be kinda cool, and benefitial to us at home, as we're always saying about watching stuff on BBC iPlayer.

@first poster
you have a wonderful name
names these day should include a Pronoun followed by an adverb....you just don't see it outside of early 90's role playing games

Indeed.

On topic (ish) I watched the second episode of 'Tiger - Spy in the Jungle' yesterday using BBC iPlayer on my PC. First time I've used it and I conclude it is a very nice feature/service. The only thing that would make it better is if I was watching it using my PS3 on my nice big HDTV.

Bless you trogdor the burninator... indeed I think the choice of my name would date me some what... )

I am also waiting for it to be available to be viewed on my Sony breadbin too...

Something I have not been able to work out on the wii version yet is how to get a full screen... But the fact the BBC are looking at other platforms is very refreshing...
