Thought, ooo good price.
Then saw the word "Maxtor"....Close lol,
Could be £10 and i wouldn't touch a Maxtor, unless you like loosing date in 18 months time.
Thanks though.

I have bad experience with Western Digital.
How many though, 1 or 2 with old hdds?
I've seen over 25 Maxtors go within the space of a year, a few of them less then 6 months old too.
Not once in my life had a WD or Seagate go, had a few samsungs though.
@ Arien, ye that's a western digital caviar

Just 1 though, but it going to the grave only 4month of usage. And the worst part there is no WD official warranty in my country
The shop where i bought also refuse to help.
Oh dear, it just my bad day

You 100% sure there's no warranty?
I'm sure with any electrical goods you get atleast 1yr warranty by law.
Check their site, put in the serial number etc and see what comes up m8.

Unfortunately in my country (when i buy WD in 1999 if my memory serve me right)there are no WD representative branch.
The WD stuff also come with unofficial distributor. So the only warranty they give me is only local/store warranty.
They said they give me 1yr warranty, but they revoke it for only 4month
