as the subject suggests...i need to know how i can block certain sites on firefox..and it most not be something too complicated...something like an add-on or a simple tutorial on how to change the settings.
any suggestions are appreciated.

thnx man...but i need something that will block a few sites..not something that will block everything and i will have to unblock it.

my firewall lets me block sites individually

Also depending on your router (if you are using one) you should be able to log into it and set site restrictions there
