HELP!!!! I bought a laptop about 3 weeks ago and everything has been fine until about 4 days ago, as i shut it down it installed a load of updates from microsoft.

Ever since then flash player does not work! When ever im on a site that uses flash it tells me to download the latest version, so i do and im told that it has installed successfully but when i restart the laptop and go to the same site, or another it tellls me to get lost again.

I've been through internet options but could not find anything relating to flash.

The only thing i can thnk of is that the last microsoft updates have somehow screwed things up.

Has anyone else had these problems, or have an idea of how to sort it before the laptop gets thrown the nearest window?

Many thanks

Nick.

Go to control panel and then to windows updates, search for updates and keep making sure you've downloaded and installed them all.

well there are no more updates to install and the probems still there, but everythings fine with firefox so the problem must be with explorer. will have to mess with the settings and see what happens.
