Yesterday I was chatting with a friend, regarding “other solar systems” and life on others planets etc etc… As for myself I think I do believe in the possibilities of life’s existence in other solar systems etc. But then suddenly he said that here are 39 type of Creatures on 39 planets. I asked him why he is so sure about their number and he replied I can’t answer. I asked why? He replied I am not bound to tell. It raised my curiosity “what or who bounds you to no to reveal?”
“ I can’t reply of this as well”
“At least tell me the reason behind this restriction?”
“You asked a question and I replied that all”
“mean you won’t tell me anything? Let me put it this way you people think that you are choosen one and we other humans are not enough brainy/academic to comprehendible/understand such facts/secretes/realities of Universe? How inequitable! I believe Allah is Aadil”
“no no its not like that”
“yes, Allah almighty is Aadil”
“Then why? I am curious to know? You ought to tell me”
“is it an imposed restriction?”
“sort of”
“Do there can be found Dragons ?”
“not sure”
“ would be they like Wild animals? Or sensible like we humans are?
“like us”
“ I wish there would be a Dragon world as well, so I will make one of them my Best buddy he/she will fly me to sky and we would have lots of fun”
”I am not sure about they kinds may be Dragon would be may be not”
“errrr…. You believe in ghost?”
“no answer”
“what about your mom?”
“well she………………………………………”

Then we switch to other stuff. What do you people say? 39 worlds? I am confused what you people call it? By the way that person is a Shia though very nice is what he said was Shiaizam? I am sorry if there is any Saaeed saabh here. No offense (to Sheias)

Now now, belief is simply a perception of reality, and who's to say that your reality is any more relavant to another than theirs is to you. The upshot being that if someone were to believe that only 39 sentient species exist in the universe, then for them, in their reality, this is the case.

To look at it another way, ask yourself this:"How do I know that the Earth is spherical?" Have you actually circumnavigated it to find out? Statistically speaking, the likelyhood is that you have not, and yet you probably believe it to be fact.

Which leads to the enevitable conclusion that a 'fact' is just something that enough people believe, regardless of how few people have observed the evidence.

I haven't a clue about the number, but it is almost impossible I would say that there weren't other "intelligent" animals/species on par with humans in the universe. They may be billions of years away, but there most definately are without doubt. What annoys me is how astronomers see a planet that doesn't have the basic requirements for life that our planet offers and then simply dismiss that planet - who's to say our law works throughout the entire universe? Maybe there are creatures of similar or even more intelligence to our own that can survive or maybe require conditions that we ourselves would die in.

Well there is much more chance of aliens being real than any religion being proved as fact.
