This may sound like a very beginner-like question, because it is one.
I can see some downloadable full-free games on this site.
Can they be played on any kind of phone that supports Java?

not at all. not at all phones are same java version, there are midp 1.0 and 2.0.
so you wont play a midp 2.0 game on a midp 1.0.
get it?

Whell I don`t have any specific games that I want to play, it was just a basic question.
I just learned that It depends on the Java version of the phone. K800 has a 2.0 version, so if I`m not wrong, only games with that version of java can be installed....
Is the java version usually written on the games?

the version can be found in the MANIFEST.MF file.
if you have winrar: open the game with winrar, go to META-INF folder and then open the MANIFEST.MF file. it has more info besides the MIDP version.

you can try though. won't hurt. they either won't install or run, or will work but will look incredibly naff - it might be a 176x 240 game on a 240 x 320 screen phone, & it will display in the top left hand corner. it'll look just wrong.
some however are adaptable for different screen resolutions. |

The resolution of the games is really important
If you have phone like K800, W850, W900, S700 you need to look for 320 x 240 games because that is the resolution of the K800 display...
For little older phones or lower resolution like K750, W800, W810, W700, D750, K700 and etc... look for games with 176 x 220 screen resolution...
There are also phones with 128 x 160 screen resolution such as: W200, K310, K510...

It could be something to do with the fact you're on a T630 which is a pretty old phone, and very out of date.

Yeah sometimes the phone matters... The newer games require better phone. processor and platform to run smoothly (or at least to run only )... For example I have tried one same game on my CID36 W800 R1BC002 firmware and my K800 (R8BA024 K810 firmware with CID52)... Burning Tires 3D was running perfectly on K800@810 while on the W800 it was very slow, so I couldn't play it... So the T630 is older phone, and needs to be installed older games on.

java applications and games for the T630 should be found on www.getjar.com... Just search for your phone model and the site search will find the compatible ones... The are also free for download...
