You dont unlock the sim to use in any phone. You unlock the phone to use any sim.

there is patch unlocking that is free.
Only if its below cid 53

kool, so i juz apply the vkp patch n is unlock rite?? how can i tell w580 is DB2020?? and i only see w880, k790, k810, k320 sim unlock patch... no w580 sim unlock patch

afaik, the  580 is db2020.
the problem is the compatibility. i guess there are not patches, but i thought you'd find some.

It costs less than $15-$20 if you decide to pay.. Not expensive. But then again, not free either  |
