as title..
for sale is one boxed, unused, Zippo "Sands of Normandy" replica 1941 lighter, what can I say other than there are only another 9,999 somewhere in the world.
The 60th Anniversary D-Day commemorative set includes a container of sand drawn from Normandy’s Omaha Beach, an informational booklet providing details about Zippo and WWII, and a replica of the 1941 Zippo lighter with the famous black crackle finish, all packaged in a fiberboard box mimicking the packaging of K-rations soldiers carried into war.
Lighter is still sealed, therefore never filled and never struck, It's number 8,556 of a possible 10,000.
Will only sell if I get anything like I'm expecting for it, I purchased it from new in 2004 from a small tobacco shop in Shaftesbury, England.. only looking to sell it as it reminds me too much of sad times.
sale only, no swaps, unless you have an original 1941 Zippo
Will only post within the UK...
