France / Italy i guess as England arent there.

Go Italy! Everyone in the UK have been constantly slamming them and look what happened, they just won the World Cup and most of their players have league and champions league winners medals. They may look poor at times but when you know how to win, you have a huge advantage over the others. England have no true winners which is why they always flop in pressure situations i.e. penalties. Same goes for the Dutch and Spanish who have great teams but only few have the winning mentality. |

As if any country has even got a chance against china, i heard somewhere that the host country gets more entrants than normal?
Its basically a shoe-in for china, what with the whole specialised training of their athletes while'st still in diapers and such.
Let's just say hypothetically if the winning country of the olympics is ruler of the world, we'd all better start learning chinese!
Betting on china to win the olympics is like betting on red and black.
There's more chance of Ireland winning gold in the 100 metre freestyle, than china losing the olympics.
