I was just watching Sky TV and that series Most Haunted was on which is ok but not exactly evidence its more for fun. But who here believes or has seen a ghost. I for one cant say i have but i have had odd experiences but i do believe there is an after life cos i believe there has to be something when we die cos surely there cant be just nothing. What do you think.

Well everyone has their own opinions and beliefs, just like with religion. In fact most religions were founded on stories that there is little if any evidence to prove them, less so than ghosts and the afterlife. I personally do believe in the paranormal and the spirit world in particular, however I am in no way religious - more so agnostic. I do understand well that the vast majority of ghostly experiences and sightings etc are down to natural reasons, the mind or simply they're faked, but I do believe that many experiences people have had certainly are paranormal and I know that I've experienced on two occassions what I can offer no alternative reason other than paranormal, and I promise you that I analyse situations like these very carefully and with much skepticism. I would and may share my personal experiences, but currently I am hungry lol.
As to whether you think that Most Haunted (Livingtv programme) is fake, it is entirely based on how much you trust the crew. I've watched the show for a long time and do myself think that Yvette and the rest of the crew are normal people looking to not only bring us yes entertainment, but also the proof that we as individuals must decide alone whether we do or do not believe in the paranormal world because they themselves are strong believers. I wanted to go to the Bristol live show, I applied but unfortunately didn't get a place - limited space and tickets are free so popular.
I will say that from what I understand, ghosts and spirits that do stay in this world as beings are usually troubled - for example they have died unlawfully, e.g. murdered. Although ghosts can visit to protect their living loved ones or simply to go to the place that which they felt attatched to in their lives. But you can experience scenes or memories of places, such as people in a pub or theatre and so on which is due to residual energy left behind - which may cause paranormal experiences, but doesn't mean an actual ghost is nearby.
Another good show is Ghost Hunters, American plumbers by day ghost hunters by night. But what is good is that they are ordinary people that as skeptics seek to gain evidence through using technology. Whereas Most Haunted is more about communication with the spirit world.

I must admit i do like Most Haunted but when people say that ghosts in themselves dont exist and its all not true thats fine you dont have to believe in it but you cant say THEY DONT EXIST cos if you have never seen one or had an experience does not mean its all rubbish. Does anyone truly believe that when we die thats it i certainly dont. My mother passed away from cancer 10 years ago and although i have not seen her i have had a few rather odd experiences to which i cannot explain. Most Haunted people say they fake it but if you ever had actually watched all 9 series you will notice there has been not one single FULL figure of a ghost on screen which to me says they are not faking it. If they were to fake things surely they would have done it by now. Im not going to get all deep and start saying YOU GOTTA BELIEVE but think about this. I think there cannot be just nothing when we die just blackness and thats it. I myself am quite fascinated by it really i been on Ghost Hunts in Dudley castle and Warwick castle. Great fun.

I do believe in certain aspects of the paranormal but not necessarily the most common explanations. For example, I'm not convinced that ghosts captured on film are the spirits of dead people walking amongst us but I also don't believe that all of the photos are fakes. There's definitely something going on that we don't yet understand, that's for sure.

There is no afterlife and THANKS Heaven THANKS Hell that there isn't.One would have been deathstruck knowing that after a while,you won't be able to go back to where you came from.  |

What you actually have proof of no afterlife. I dont have proof of ghosts but thats does not mean it aint true or they are not real. Nobody knows but im fascinated by it. Its true you cant believe something you have not seen but i dont think we just go to nothing the world and universe is too vast for there to be nothing.

I've done numerous personality profiles and psychometric tests and I'm a blue person "Show me the details" (insights), ISTJ "Introvert, Sensation, Thinking, (Myer Briggs), and so on...
I need evidence for me to believe something, word of mouth isn't enough for me, even a photo isn't evidence enough for me, concrete is the way I need evidence, without evidence I cannot believe it.
