what do u recommend, buy the p800 now or wait for a newer software and a less price? |

heard many guys talking about problems on the phone, so do u recommend me to wait for a couple of days maybe they will have a new sw version, and i want to ask when will the price of the p800 will drop?

well it wont drop for awhile(depends how much nokia/other does..usually it lowers after 6-18months) and they wont lower the price that much either..so buy it now if you want it:)

uhuh...i dont beleive that SE or dealers wont drop their prices that much...its up to you when you want to buy the phone...but for sure prices wil be lessened from its introductory price though almost unrecognizable... |

If you buy the phone now you can always upgrade the SW later on.
If I could afford one right now, I would have bought one!

I´ll wait cause at least here in Spain Vodafone will sell it in around 500€ so why pay more I am with co. so wait is the idea pay less good for my pocket. |

@jucame: I think you will have to wait a while for the price to drop so low, maybe on contract with a network provider lock, but who wants that?
In Norway the cheapest one I have seen on contract was 760€. Don`t know if it was with providerlock though.
And that was a special treat for Esato members.
(They only had a limited number of phones and are sold out before someone ask)

And it workd great. I don't know about wich software bugs you are talking but I haven't found any of them yet.

guys whats the latest f/w version on the phone , i have R1B, but i see some1 posting on howards he had R1C done last friday[ to my knowledge R1B only came out 2 weeks ago]

I had the same problem.
I now have FW R1C, and the video player works just fine !!!
