hi, i have removed a few programs from the startup using msconfig but now everytime start it tells me about it but unlike with xp there is no way to tell it not to show me the message again. anyone know how to do it? thanks

you don't need to use msconfig to change start-up progs in vista
go back into msconfig and put it back to default
to get the programs to stop starting up once youve done that go to
start> control Panel> and under "programs" there is an option to change start-up programs, select what program you don't want to start-up and then click "disable"
