hello everyone.. this thread is exclusively for SE haters like me...u can freely post ur complaints on se products here... i was an se fan before until i decided to move to nokia...
let me start the topic first... why i hate se... specially the k-series, i bought a k700i and after a few weeks i fastport broke... and it has a horible charger...
after the k700, was the k750, nice phone also but the joystick sucks... and the k800, then finaly, se replaced the ideal of putting a joystick, however, they put an ugly d-pad on the latest k850.... why can u just use a simple and easy to navigate d-pad like nokia did? |

If the K850i's D-pad is not to your liking, then don't buy it. There's no need to bash it. I think the creation of this thread is very immature. You don't see anyone making a Nokia haters thread, even though there are plenty that don't like Nokia (or any other brand, Nokia is just the most obvious example).
People may dislike SE, or they may not like the direction SE has taken in recent times, but this is after all an SE forum, and so I don't think you will find many haters here. Most people here are very pro-SE.

Exactly, with esato being a  forum why would anyone want a thread about hating 
And anyway, it would be unfair to class as a brand you hate down to small things on a small number of their products - I am sure you will find similar problems on certain Nokia, Samsung, LG, Motorala models ect as no brand creates the perfect phone so there is no reason for this thread imo.
Also as @Oli has mentioned there are people who dislike nokia and people who dislike any other brand for that matter who are mature enough to not go and make a thread declaring their hate for a brand (well, there are always exceptions to this...)

Yeah, considering that a hugely popular SE forum was made shows that many people really like SE, so just because you're not into them doesn't mean you should just bash them.
Also, why is this posted in 'Technical'? There was nothing even remotely technical about your post. Just mindless immaturity.

Come on guys, this is very dissapointing to see the responses in this thread.
Not everything SE does is perfect and even if this is primarily an site, members who have moved to other manufacturers are fully entitled to express their views and explain their decision in order to invite discussion without the need for this kind of response.
Are you all so worried about hearing something negative about products that you have to redicule posters such as this?
I've never liked the word but I'm starting to see now why some people use the word FANatic towards some other members
I will agree than perhaps the thread title was always going to provoke some reaction, but still...
anyway, I'll leave this closed now
