I have a nokia 3250 and the signal on the phone keeps playing up. It can be on full signal for days then all of a sudden the signal goes completely. Does anyone know what this could be ? And how it could be resolved

Thanx in advance

it'll be a software bug, try and update it through Nokias website and NSU program.

http://nds1.nokia.com/files/s[....]kiaSoftwareUpdaterSetup_en.exe for the NSU application

http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4777088 for the associated webpage.

sounds daft but have you tried a different sim card in it? to see if that rectifies the situation? has the phone been blocked by your network? Does it literally show no reception or does it say anything on the screen? another thing that might help, might not is to manually log your sim onto a different network, in settings, network, network selection, chose manual and it should search, if it finds any networks chose a different one to the one you are on, it will say not allowed or words to that effect, then select your network, once that has happened it will kick you back to the main screen, then go to menu, settings, network, and change manual network selection to automatic and see if it keeps network, if all that fails it might be a hardware fault, if the phone is younger than 2 years old it should be fixed by Nokia for free....

I tried another sim card on a different network still no good,
4 tried to manually change network comes up no networks available.
The signal came on about ten minutes ago allowed me to send 2 texts then went off again. Its sending me crazy.

ah ha, must be a fairly simple problem, it'll need to coupler replacing, get to your local Nokia service centre, wherever that might be,

if you are located in the UK.....
