Sorry for the long title, but I'm getting a K810i and I'm wondering how the crystal cases from Ebay work on this. Due to previous experience, I'm afraid it'll cause more scratches than it'll prevent. Any feedback will be appreciated.

PS. First post! Hopefully I can have a pleasurable experience here!

Firstly, welcome to Esato!
Y'know I only dropped by here for free themes 2 years ago, I'm a >500 poster now!
From personal experiences I'd say no to crystal cases of any form, any shop, any brand it doesn't matter, just no.
Apparently silicone cases are no better, I remember reading a post a while back explaining why silicone was bad.
I think the best way forward is a nice leather one, brands like Krussel tend to be recommended, Vaja have a nice range too so have a look there as well, they're custom hand made as well.

Hope this helps out a bit.

Thanks for the reply! I guess I'll stick with no case when I get the phone and just try and take care of it nicely.

Well with my W810i (now sold), I had a crystal case with that and I was lucky cos it didn't damage the screen. Hubby had a K610i with a crystal case and it scratched the screen to F**k.

Now I have no case but just a screen protector which is enough for me.

i found that crystal cases do scratch the screen but when you add a screen protector as well then it works fine. jus make sure that you clean the case at least once a week to remove any dirt/dust.+

I'd agree that a nice leather case is good protection, if you like that kind of thing. a good idea is a screen protector as the screen is probably most prone to getting scratched. [addsig]

there very good protective covers w/o it my 8GB Phone prob be a mess !

if you buy one make sure you buy a pouch aswell
