plz help.w910i or the w890i |

Hi i have been looking into the w890i and have come across 2 deals now one of them was with the w910i vodafone 750 mins 250 txts !! and the other with w890i tmobile flext 30 450mins OR 900 txts, the price is the same 25 pounds.
Have already ordered the w910i but now have been reading alot of complaints about bugs and now am wondering if i have made the right choice, plus both contracts are with 18 months so need a phone that will last as i will not be getting the insurance with it.
I know the only big difference is the size of the screen on w910i and the 3.2M on the w890i.
So after all that i want your opinions with this because if i decide i want the w890i i will have to cancel my order with voda for the w910i and the porting of my number
so i need your help to deicde.... and its particularly a hard choice bwt the 2!!

I had a play on a W910i in the local Voda store and its a seriously sexy bit of kit, the big screen is great and suits the A200 software platform well. Its also amazingly thin for a slider, which attracts alot of attention too.
Ask Muhammad-Oli about his Havanna Gold Voda branded W910i, he'll know about any bugs. In my experience with Vodafone handsets, the only bugs can easily be solved by reloading the firmware (for free under 12 mth warranty) so don't debrand.
I haven't seen a W890i (because Voda NZ aren't bringing it here  ) but of the two it'd be my choice simply because of the better camera and the metal case.

Hey man, my Vodafone W910i is a very recent version, and I've had next to no bugs on it, which means that in the latest Vodafone firmware, most have been fixed. The bugs you hear about mostly relate to older firmware or are very minor.
The only bug I have that actually annoys me is that one (not all) of my 3D games plays very slowly with a choppy framerate. I have many other games and they all are fine (actually maybe its the game?).
Most of the bugs with the A200 platform you will find across the range as I don't think the platform is quite right yet. So no matter whether you get a W910i, a K850i or a W890i, you will experience slightly slower menu browsing, etc. I don't find this at all annoying though, because its not actually that slow and it doesn't affect what you want to do.
Regarding the camera, I've heard that the difference between 2 MP and 3.2 MP on these phones is not much, because neither have auto focus. I find the W910i camera to be perfectly fine and from what I've seen of the W890i's photos, the W910i's quality is bang on. I believe the only time you'd notice a real difference is if you compared them at full size, and thats something you wouldn't do because they are cellphone pictures, and they are craaap at full size! 
So I see no real advantage that the W890i has. The W910i has a really nice, large screen, its thin too, and it has a great, smooth slider which you'll find will attract the attention of absolutely anyone that sees it! The W910i also has the accelerometer which, while unnecessary, is a very fun and cool feature. Carkitter's comment about the W890i being metal may be true, but the W910i has metal sides which add to the classy feel of the phone too.  I believe you made the right choice!

Also the speaker volume on the w890i is really weak, can hardly hear it ringing.....
what's it like on the w910i ? |
