cancel this thread as ive just phoned orange and found out this phones been barred good job he has not had my n80 yet thats why i never send first |

at least you still have the n80 - who did you get the spv off?
i would reccommend getting a CheckMEND certificate on the IMEI number (for details go to checkmend.org.uk). If it has been reported stolen, then this service should tell you and produce a certificate that you can use as proof to the person you got the phone off. that way you should be able to not send the phone back and let the police have it (where it should be). They should also be able to confirm whether or not it is blocked
