what to wear (Graduate employment assessment days) |

I have a dilemma...
Tomorrow I have the first of two graduate assessment recruitment days, tonight I am staying in the hotel it is base in, and tomorrow the day starts at 11am.
I have no other details of the schedule, other that there is a tour of some docks, and a meal with the company directors on the tuesday (tomorrow) and a one on one interview on the Wednesday.
What should I wear tomorrow?
a) shirt with smart jumper over it, brown chords, smart shoes.
b) same shirt with smart jumper, black trousers, black shoes
c) shirt (no tie) suit jacket and trousers and shoes.
d) full on suit.
Bearing in mind I will be wearing a suit to the meal in the evening and again for the one on one interview.
The fact that we are getting givien overalls and safety shoes for the tour of the docks makes me doubt wearing a suit, but first impressions will count (and I assume I will always be assessed during my stay)...
The plan is to go to breakfast tomorrow and try and find information of the schedule whilst keeping an eye out for fellow graduates to get their opinion, thought I would ask you trusting guys first though.
I would rather be to smart than under smart I think, but dont want to go ruining my suit in the docks...

Yeah, definately B or C. Just "smart casual" should be fine. Nobody wears a full suite ALL of the time except con men and arse lickers

How about a nice crisp white shirt, with a tie and then a v neck jumper over the top with some trousers and loafers.

went for C, worked a treat, thanks guys... I was just right, not too smart, not to casual.
Tomorrow I have interview at 8am, so just brushing up on answers, will wear D for the interview, have a good feeling about it!
