hey,
i'm looking to buy a new digital camera, want one that has really good pic quality, needs to be good to take photos in clubs, also needs a good video mode with sound
 budget is up to £150 really, but around £110ish would be good

I've just posted this in the other thread recommending a camera, but though I'd post it here as well
I would recommend the Canon A720 IS at £149 at Jessops. I got this camera a couple of days ago and it's a brilliant device!
Image stabilisation, face recognition, 8 megapixels and excellent image quality, and what attracted me to it is that if you want to take your photography further, it has nearly as many manual controls to fiddle with (like aperture priority, shutter priority, control over ISO, full manual control etc.) and you can get some brilliant results
